About Me
Hi,
My name is Graham. I’m a History Major/ Religion Minor who goes to George Mason University and in my spare time I study the hidden or “occult” as it was once called traditions of the middle ages. My interests in that field include mainly Alchemy, Astrology, Ceremonial Magic, Herbalism, and their relationship to the more orthodox religious practices of that day. My plan is to graduate, go to graduate school, and gain a profession as an archivist on this material. Why do I study this material? Well, these esoteric practices were in some ways attempts for the medieval human beings to understand the world around them. Eventually, many of their observations would lead to the foundation for the study of modern natural science. I’d like to explore this connection further and see if there were things in the past that might help breakthroughs of the future.
Graham
