Scarcity or Abundance?

Roy Rosenzweig in his article reveals a growing problem in the field of historical preservation. The problem itself is twofold, first the media on which we record data is becoming less and less substantial, and second, while this may be a good thing for our new era the overabundance of information makes documenting it that much harder. In my humble opinion if we were to solve one problem several options would open to solve the other.
